Guardian: Plaka beach of Naxos at the best in Europe

One of the longest beaches of Naxos is located on the west side of the island, about 10 km from Chora and is a natural continuation of Agia Anna beach. The endless (4 km long) sandy beach of Plaka was once a hangout of free campers and hippies. Today, it is one of the most popular beaches on the island, offering choices that cover even the most demanding. White sand, turquoise waters and exotic sand dunes on the back of it make up a dreamy scenery. Most of it is organized with loungers, umbrellas, taverns, beach bars and water sports.

However, walking along it, you will find several points to isolate yourself. Do not worry about the time of attendance. The beach is so big that it is never suffocated by people.
